Procedural Costs Report

The Procedure Costs Report is the first of its kind on the PREFcards platform. Facility admins can now see which procedures and which surgeons cost the most!

The top level report compares the aggregate values of every procedure against every other procedure. For each procedure, the min cost, max cost, and disparity are shown. Min and max costs are derived from the items opened (min) and held (max). Disparity reports the difference between the most expensive surgeon and the least expensive surgeon. High disparity equates to high cost savings potential if you change or hold more items.

Drilling into any one of the individual procedures will give a more detailed report based on the individual surgeons performing that procedure. You can further drill down into any individual PREFcard to see the actual items that are different, or how many items are held versus opened. We're working on a longer-term solution to show the individual differences between surgeon costs.
